Poster Format

All poster authors are asked to follow these technical guidelines:

  • The content of the presented poster must reflect the submitted abstract.
  • Posters should be designed in upright DIN A0 format (84.1 x 118.9 cm / 33.1 x 46.8 in) to fit onto the poster boards.
  • Mounting material will be provided.
  • The poster has to be composed in English language.
  • Contact information, at least of the presenting author, has to be provided.

Presenting authors are asked to be available at their posters during the poster sessions.

Poster Award

For the upcoming conference we will award a prize for the best poster presented by a research student.

Entry Rules:

Authors of selected abstracts will present their original work during a short oral presentation. Those eligible to enter must present the data of their poster and should be a current graduate student, or one who has recently graduated and is presenting work that was completed when they were still a student. The entrant must be the first author of the poster.

Assessment Criteria:

  • Abstract quality (20%)
  • Relevance (10%)
  • Poster design & scientific quality (40%)
  • Oral presentation (30%)

A panel of judges chooses the winner. The prize will be awarded during the conference dinner.
